This is a follow up post on the promise I made to review my Boots Beauty Haul. The products are numbered in relation to the order I'll review them.
Someone with a good memory will probably point out that the Soap and Glory Hair Turban was not number 1 on the Boots Haul list (think more along the lines of number 3). The reason I didn't review products 1 and 2 is because I've done a review for product number 1 (Fab Pore Facial Mask) and product number 2 (Righteous Body Butter) is very similar to this review here. So that brings me to review number 3...
Most girls with hair that is long enough to tie in a ponytail will know how annoying wet hair is. It leaves huge wet patches on your clothes, makes you feel cold and miserable and is just generally a pain in the bum. What is even worse than that? Trying to wrap your hair up in a 'body' towel that weighs the same amount as an elephant. This isn't so much a review, but more of a how-to and a talk about it.
I have a shower every day and while I know that isn't the best thing for my hair it is literally the only thing I can do. I hate the feeling of being dirty/unclean, it drives me insane. I also have fine hair that shows any imperfections in a super obvious way so I have no choice but to wash my hair every day. So when I heard someone muttering about a hair turban I decided to Google what on earth they where on about and that's when I hit the jackpot.
Hair turbans, for those of you that are unsure, are basically miniature towels that often have a clip that secures the bottom of the towel to the top. Sounds a little weird, huh? Basically, you place the towel on your head (pictures below!) and then let it fall down the length of your hair and then twist it and your hair upwards and attach the clip to the front of the 'hood'. It keeps your wet hair off your shoulders (and neck) and is lightweight so you don't get that horrible heavy feeling. Another bonus here is that it doesn't un-do itself either so you only need to do it once and wait until your hair has dried or you are ready to manually dry it!
I bought the Soap and Glory Hair Turban for two reasons. Firstly, I love S&G and have yet to find a dud product that I don't like and secondly because it was in Boots and wasn't ridiculously priced (£7.50). To sum it all up, if you have medium/long hair and often find yourself with large wet patches down your back due to your wet hair running everywhere I highly suggest you go out and buy one of these, or at least a variation of.
