Coconut Hair Mask

I've been trying out several natural hair masks since Christmas in the hopes that I can find one and not have to buy a hair mask filled with chemicals. I've tried everything from honey to eggs to strawberries to avocado and while some of them have made my hair shiner or more moisturised none of them have 'blown me away'.

That was until I was reading an article about the benefits of coconut oil which you can find here and I noticed there was one for a hair mask. So basically all you need is coconut oil which you can find at pretty much any supermarket, the more natural it is the better. This makes it in my opinion the easiest hair mask, ever.

Just section your hair into 3 parts (dependent upon how thick your hair is) and slap some coconut oil onto it. Focus on the ends rather than the roots. Continue until you're all coconuted-up. Put your hair in a shower cap (if you don't have one, wrap some aluminium/cling foil around your head.) Then wrap that in a warm towel (fresh out the tumble dryer) and let it sit for 30 minutes! Once you've relaxed and painted your nails or whatever it is you've done wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo, it might take you a couple times to get all that oil out. Dry/style hair as usual!

The reason I love this the most out of any hair mask I've tried is 1. It is so easy, 2. It smells amazing and 3. I love how soft/shiny my hair is after I've done this! It isn't just a hair mask that looks good for 24 hours then the magic disappears kind of hair mask, oh no, it's a full blown 7 full days of amazing hair. Then after the 7 days you'll still notice you have less fly-away hairs and much shinier hair!
